No worries. Wiseco only applies that coating as a topical coat. You can see that its topical by showing the machining lines still through the coating. Once that anti friction coating wears away its ready to go. They lay this sacrificial coating on there to aid in the break in procedure to ensure no scoring or scraping occurs during the engines "new life"
